2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to your enquiries and deliver our Services. This falls into two categories.
a) Information you give us directly
When you use a form on our Website, we collect the following:
| Where you provide it | What we collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form | Name, email address, subject, and your message | To respond to your enquiry |
| Book a Free Demo form | Full name, email address, phone number, and the course you are interested in | To arrange your demo session and advise you on the course |
| Newsletter subscription | Email address | To send you course updates and news, until you unsubscribe |
If you enrol in a course, we may collect additional information necessary to register and support you.
b) Information collected automatically
Like most websites, when you visit us our servers and infrastructure providers may automatically record limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the Website secure and working correctly.
We do not collect special categories of data (such as health, religion, or biometric data), and we ask that you do not submit such information through our forms.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your enquiries and demo requests;
- Arrange and deliver demo sessions and course-related communication;
- Provide, operate, and improve our Services and Website;
- Send you newsletters and updates where you have subscribed (you can opt out at any time);
- Maintain the security and integrity of our Website; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects about you.
4. Our lawful bases for processing
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis for processing your personal information, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent (for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter); the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one (for example, responding to a demo request); and our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our training services, provided these do not override your rights.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our Website uses a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to keep the site secure and to protect our forms against cross-site request forgery, and are set by our web framework when you interact with the site. These are required for the Website to function.
We serve our own fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images from this Website rather than from external content delivery networks, so simply loading a page does not hand your IP address to a third party. The exception is the analytics described below, which loads only if you accept it.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use our Website — for example which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which courses attract the most interest. Google Analytics sets cookies that assign your browser a randomly generated identifier and records information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. We use this only in aggregate, to improve the Website and our course offering; we do not use it to identify you personally. Google processes this data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Your choice. Analytics cookies are optional, so we do not set them unless you accept. When you first visit the Website we show a banner asking whether you consent; until you choose “Accept”, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is requested from Google Analytics. If you decline, analytics stays switched off. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, which reopens the banner and lets you withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, so it applies to that browser and device.
6. How we share your information
We share personal information only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With trusted providers who help us operate our Website and Services — for example hosting, email, and communication providers — who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal reasons. Where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will take steps to protect your information.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to provide our Services, and to meet our legal obligations. Enquiry and demo-request records are retained for 24 months after our last interaction, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
8. How we protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, and access to stored enquiry data is limited to authorised personnel. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- To access the information we hold about you;
- To ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- To ask us to delete your information;
- To object to or restrict certain processing;
- To withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; and
- To unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in our emails or by contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@progmatrix.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Third-party links
Our Website may contain links to external websites that we do not operate. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
11. Children's privacy
Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. International visitors
We operate online and may serve learners in multiple countries. If you access our Website from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country with different data protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
